History was made on May 7 at the Hyatt at Gainey Ranch when 1,000 backpacks were stuffed in under 15 minutes. It’s only natural for records to be set when dozens of highly competitive NCAA Division I football coaches challenge each other to bring it on!
This particular event was part of The Fiesta Bowl’s inaugural “Path to the Summit,” which aims to connect up-and-coming diversity leaders with current college athletics industry leaders.
The Fiesta Bowl is an ardent supporter of Back to School Clothing Drive and we were thrilled to offer this meaningful (and fun!) community service project to help further their mission of enhancing the community through youth, sports and education. Thank you to The Fiesta Bowl’s Jose Moreno, Brenda Puga, Mike Nealy, and Bob Whitehouse, as well as to all of the coaches who helped score this victory for Arizona’s high-need students!
