Do you have a passion for children, looking to invest some time with a nonprofit organization? Do you have high energy with a strong network of relationships that can help support our work? If so, Back to School Clothing Drive may be the board for you. We are seeking governing board members with strong personal and professional networks with expertise in a number of professions such as but not limited to legal, finance/investment management, supply chain management/retail, fundraising, marketing/public relations and others. Board meets once per month, with some monthly/quarterly committee meetings.
In addition, BTSCD is forming an advisory council that will be comprised of individuals seeking to support our organization in addition to the formal governing board of directors. These 20-30 “Friends of Back to School Clothing Drive” members will meet periodically and help with networking, fundraising, and introductions to new relationships and resources in support of our mission. Several exciting programming, professional and other learning and networking activities will be part of this valuable council role.
