Joyce was a wonderful and hard working volunteer for BTSCD. She showed up for every work day and open house as well as distribution. Her sense of humor made her fun to be around and she was such an interesting person! She made the most gorgeous quilts and donated them year after year for our BTSC fundraiser. She did the same for the Humane Society. Joyce loved animals! She had 5 or 6 cats and a giant tortoise who hibernated under her bed in the winter and lived in her backyard the rest of the year. She had a love affair with cars and drove a couple of cute little sports cars as well as a lime green VW Bug. She was a meticulous seamstress. The clothing and purses she made for the children always had wonderful little details and color combinations that set them apart from most. She loved music and playing piano. She was a huge Diamondbacks fan and especially loved Mark Grace. So many things about Joyce made her very dear and she will be greatly missed. She was a lovely person with a big heart and we were so lucky to call her our friend.
